Alpha Omega Announces Partnership with Alesig Consulting LLC in a Strategic Growth and Mentorship Venture

One of the DC Metro area’s fastest growing government contracting companies, Alpha Omega (Alpha Omega), announced a Mentor Protege Partnership with Alesig Consulting (Alesig). With the goal to cultivate the development of both organizations and mentor Alesig in the realm of Cybersecurity and IT Modernization, the companies agreed on the acquisition of 40% equity in Alesig earlier this summer. Alesig is an 8(m) EDWOSB in Falls Church, Virginia, that provides IT services and customer solutions for Federal and state agencies.

The partnership comes as part of the Small Business Administration’s Mentor-Protégé Program (SBA MPP) that connects small businesses with experienced government contractors. Through the SBA approved MPP, Protégés access valuable business development help from their mentors, including internal business management systems, accounting, marketing, manufacturing, and strategic planning, and financial support in the form of equity investments, loans, and bonding. Protégé businesses also learn valuable skills in navigating federal contract bidding, acquisition, and the federal procurement process as well as identifying markets, business development, and security clearance support.
