Joanne Gladden
Joanne Gladden, a seasoned Project Management Professional and ITIL practitioner with over 30 years of experience, was recently appointed as Senior Vice President of Climate Science at Alpha Omega. Joanne brings a wealth of expertise in executive management, business development, program and project management. She has served numerous federal agencies including the Department of Defense, Department of Commerce, and Department of State customers in the areas of enterprise information technology, cybersecurity, systems engineering, and software development.
Joanne’s recent promotion to Senior Vice President of Climate Science at Alpha Omega underscores her leadership capabilities and domain expertise. In her previous roles at the company, she played a pivotal role in capturing strategic programs and provided expert support across core business units. Notable achievements include securing contracts such as the NOAA Data Stewardship contract and various Department of State contracts.
In her prior positions as Director of Client Services and Senior Program Manager, Joanne demonstrated her ability to manage large-scale programs and foster exceptional client relationships. Her leadership has led to achievements such as exceeding organic growth targets, optimizing resource utilization, and successfully transitioning contracts.
Before her time at Alpha Omega, Joanne held senior leadership positions at, NetCentrics Corporation, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), and MetroStar Systems. In these roles, she consistently drove business development efforts, managed complex projects, and maintained strategic partnerships.
Joanne holds an MBA from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in International Management from Georgetown University. Additionally, she is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds ITIL certifications, underscoring her commitment to excellence in project management and IT service delivery.
