Gordon Boozer appointed VP of Cybersecurity

Vienna, VA, December 9, 2025– Alpha Omega, a leading provider of AI-driven modernization and digital transformation solutions to the federal government, today announced the appointment of Gordon Boozer as Vice President of Cybersecurity. In this role, Boozer will lead Alpha Omega’s cybersecurity strategy, capabilities, and delivery, helping federal agencies protect critical systems and infrastructures while accelerating digital transformation.
Mr. Boozer brings more than 26 years of federal experience, including leadership roles at the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Department of State, and Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), where he developed and implemented comprehensive cybersecurity strategies in mission-critical environments.

In his role as Vice President of Cybersecurity, Boozer will lead the development of a cyber community of practice at Alpha Omega while engaging current clients and stakeholders at the USCG, Department of State, DHS, and HHS, conducting a comprehensive gap analysis of the cybersecurity workforce across knowledge, training, and certifications. He will also identify opportunities for efficiency and AI implementation, leveraging Alpha Omega’s IP solutions including the A2O platform to identify enhancements and define a CMMC Level 2 roadmap and other key accreditations. Boozer’s past work within the Department of War and federal agencies will be key to expanding a qualified pipeline of cybersecurity opportunities for 2026 and shape a workforce and accreditation roadmap that strengthens Alpha Omega’s position as a trusted cyber and modernization partner.

Boozer holds a master’s degree in information systems from Drexel University and maintains multiple industry-leading certifications, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and Advanced in Artificial Intelligence Security Management (AAISM) from ISACA, as well as Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI and certifications in Scrum and IT service management.
